Hi guys! I recently got the chance to go check out the new Boscov’s that opened in Meriden, CT.
I have to admit that until about two weeks ago I had never heard of Boscov’s!
I begged my hubby to take the day off and come with me to check it out (here’s a little secret….I really didn’t have to do much begging he likes shopping just as much as I do)!
We left as soon as the kids were off to school. We stopped and grabbed a Starbucks (by the way the new toasted graham latte is delish!) and we were on our way.
I was a little skeptical on whether or not it was going to be worth the drive. It took us an hour and ten minutes from Voluntown to Boscov’s in Meriden, Connecticut. Once we arrived in Meriden, the mall was easy to find and the parking was a breeze.
I have to say the second I stepped foot into the store I was dreamy-eyed and amazed! SO WORTH THE DRIVE!!! I have already made plans with one of my girlfriends to go for a day trip to do some early christmas shopping! While I’m there I’m going to have them wrap all my gifts since they do FREE gift wrapping 365 days a year! Crazy, right?!?!?
We made our way around the store and I lost Jeff (my husband) four or five times! The store is HUGE! They even have a candy department where they make their own homemade fudge on site! The fudge was great! I made homemade brownies and cut up some of the chocolate fudge and added it to the batter…..can you say genius?!
Their prices were phenomenal! My husband got $72 worth of dress socks for…..$8! NO JOKE!
They carry all types of brands from inexpensive to more high-end. It really is a place where anyone on any type of budget would be happy! Some of the brands they carry are Adidas, Michael Kors, Betsey Johnson, Dooney & Bourke, Jessica Simpson, Nike, Calvin Klein and more!
The selection of outer wear was immense. Both my husband and I were looking for coats and we were each able to find one we liked and for under $40 each!
I loved this store so much that Voluntown Housewife is going to do our first ever giveaway.
Click here if you would like to enter a Rafflecopter giveaway! Good Luck! The giveaway goes from October 14th-Nov 4th!
